A Letter is a personal message for your future self or one selected friend. It can hold text, photos, one original voice recording, or a combination. A recording is optional.

What can I put inside?

Each letter needs at least one kind of content. Both Free and VIP support:

  • Text: up to 10,000 characters.
  • Photos: up to 1 with Free or 9 with VIP.
  • Audio: one recording, up to 1 minute with Free or 5 minutes with VIP.

Both plans allow unlimited letter creation. Recipients do not need VIP to view all delivered content. See Free & VIP.

How delivery works

  • Scheduled: choose a future date and time.
  • Open When: describe a situation, such as “when you miss our trip.” The letter goes to the selected recipient’s inbox, and they decide when to open it. There is no automatic conversation matching.

You can save without a recipient; the letter is not delivered until a recipient and valid delivery settings are provided. Each letter is delivered once. Find delivered letters in Letters → Received.

Text or photos are marked as read after successful display. A pure-audio letter is marked as read when playback successfully starts. Read status does not confirm that someone read every word or listened to the whole recording.

Your words, photos, and voice

You choose the content. Recordings are your own voice. A letter is private to its recipient, not a public post or broadcast. An optional private note name is visible only to its creator.

If VIP expires or access changes

Saved letters keep their content and delivery settings when VIP expires. New letters follow your current limits. Removing a friend cancels undelivered letters between you. Deleting a letter or your account starts the corresponding deletion process. See storage and access.
