A Letter can contain text, photos, one voice recording, or a combination. You do not have to record audio.

1. Prepare your letter

Open Letters and tap +.

  • Tap the writing area to add text, up to 10,000 characters.
  • Tap Add photos to choose photos. You can select multiple photos within your remaining allowance: up to 1 per letter for Free, or 9 for VIP.
  • Add a voice recording if you want one: up to 1 minute for Free or 5 minutes for VIP. A letter holds one recording. You can listen back, pause playback, or record again before saving.

Include at least one kind of content. You can use any one kind on its own or combine them. Use the … menu to add an optional Private note name; the recipient will not see it.

2. Choose the recipient

Continue to the recipient step. Choose Myself, a friend, or No recipient for now if you want to decide later.

Saving without a recipient keeps the letter in your own list; it is not delivered until a recipient and valid delivery conditions are set.

3. Set delivery and save

Choose a delivery option:

  • For a Chosen Date: delivered on the date and at the time you choose.
  • Open When: describe a situation. The letter goes to the selected recipient’s inbox, and they choose when to open it.

Save the letter after reviewing your choices. Both delivery options are available with Free and VIP, and neither plan limits the number of letters you can create.

Both options work directly with the selected recipient. Open When does not use automatic conversation matching.

Find and manage your letter

Open Letters → Created by Me. Filter by status or recipient and open a letter. The … menu contains the management actions available in its current state, including changing its recipient or delivery conditions when allowed. The optional private note is for your own list.

Read and listen after delivery

Delivered letters appear in Letters → Received. Open the letter to read its text and view its photos. If it contains audio, use the player at the bottom to play or pause it; audio does not start automatically.

A letter with text or photos is marked as read when its visual content has successfully displayed. A letter containing only audio is marked as read after playback successfully starts. Downloading media in advance does not itself mark a letter as read.

Letters addressed to yourself appear in your own Received list after delivery.

Recipients do not need VIP to view all delivered content, including multiple photos or a longer recording. Audio remains the creator’s original recording.
